Ryegate, MT - home of the Testicle Festival! Every June when the cows are castrated, they cook em' up and eat em' - Rocky Mountain Oysters! Some people tried to get some here, but the bar doesn't turn on the fryer until 10am and it was 8:30 am. Oh well.

Comanche, MT train stop, a water stop for us. This grain elevator could be seen for miles and miles before we actually got to it.

Today was absolutely the best for riding - a tailwind just about the entire way, and mostly all downhill!! We were blown to Billings!! I was on the road by 6 am and got to Billings just before 2 pm. What a great way to start a rest day! I am actually going to rest for this one too, I have no running around to do in town looking for saddles or better padded shorts. I passed out on my bed in our dorms at Montana State - Billings after doing my laundry and it was wonderful! Dinner was again amazing from Beyond Basil. A major electrical storm rolled in just as dinner was ending in the park and a bunch of people ran for it, but myself and about 6 others waited it out under the small picnic table pavillion. It was a great storm! Lightning everywhere!! It was really cold though for a while and we huddled together to keep warm. About an hour later, I think, it finally let up and we walked back to dorm to relax. Later that night, another thunder storm came through. The locals said they were some of the worst storms they ever seen in history! Fell asleep reading tonight...exhausted, but having the time of my life.
